Patricia Carrasquilla was born and raised in Mexico City. She attended the art academy La Esmeralda and was the recipient of multiple grants from FONCA (National Fund for Arts and Culture-Mexico) to work on her personal ouvre.

Patricia received an artist residency in 1998 from UNESCO-ASCHBERG to work on a couple of artistic projects as well as a clay mural in the cities of Ramallah and Tulkarm in the Middle East.

In 2003 she relocated to Canada where she founded the art school STREETdog ARTstudio in Oakville, Ontario.

Patricia has had five solo exhibits and over fifty group exhibits around the world.

Her artistic productions involve painting, sculpture, photography and video.
